1. PRODUCT INFORMATION

- PRODUCT: Beeswax
The main components are aliphatic acids and esters.
CAS No: 8006-40-4
- Wax origin: Honey capping wax from beehives.
- Appearance: Slab/Block/Bar/Pellets/Pastilles/Granules/Beads
- Color: White/ off white, grey white
- Odour: Natural, it may vary depended on the nectariferous flowers.

2. SPECIFICATION

Appearance: White or yellowish-white pieces or plates, translucent when thin, with a fine-grained, matt and non-crystalline fracture
Odour: Natural beeswax Smell similar to that of yellow beeswax, fainter
Taste: Tasteless, not stick to the teeth
Solubility: Practically insoluble in water, partially soluble in hot ethanol, completely soluble in fatty and essential oils.
Drop point: 61.0-66.0℃
Acid Value: 17.0 -24.0 mg/g
Saponification Value: 87.0-104.0mg/g
Ester Value: 70.0-80.0mg/g
Relative destiny at 23℃: About 0.960
Glycerols and other Polyols: 0%-0.5%
Ceresin,paraffins and certain other waxes: 59.0℃-65.0℃
Above specification is in compliance with Phar.Eur.9.0, applied for DJ111, DJ112,DJ113.
Hydrocarbon value can be controlled between 14-18 as per customer special request.

3. APPLICATION

- Release agent, coatings for confectioneries, chocolate, tablet, chewing gum, treatments of vegetables and fruits.
- Skin-care: used as a thickener and has emollience properties in creams, balm and ointment.
- Cosmetics:Lip Sticks, Lip balm, Mascara, beard balm, moustache wax.
- Polishes for cars, shoes, leathers, wood.
- Candles: Pillar, tea light, container candles.

Keep in dry and low temperature area, away from sunlight.
