Sealing wax

Do you know the biggest nightmare when hand-stamping 100 wedding invitations or your artisan products? It’s the wax shattering in the mail or sticking to the stamp, ruining your hard work. At Vaza.gr, we understand that the details make the design. That is why we don’t just sell supplies; we offer complete wax seal solutions guaranteed to give you a professional finish on the very first try. Whether you are sealing a love letter, wedding stationery, or the lid of your homemade honey jar, you will find the reliable quality your craft demands right here.

What makes our collection stand out?

  • High-Definition Brass: Our stamps are machined from solid brass (not cheap alloys), ensuring high heat capacity for a crisp, clean impression that captures every detail.
  • Post-Office Safe (Flexible Formula): We stock modern sealing wax with built-in flexibility. This ensures your letters arrive at their destination intact, surviving the sorting machines without chipping or cracking.
  • Multi-Surface Application: Ideal not only for paper, but also for glass (jars/bottles), fabric, ribbons, and decorative lace ribbon for decoration, adding a luxury character to your products.

How to Get the Perfect Seal (The Industry Secret)

Customers often ask us why wax sometimes sticks to the metal die. The answer comes down to physics. To achieve a clean release and crystal-clear definition in your design, your stamp needs to be cold.

  1. The "Ice Hack": Before stamping, rest the metal base of your stamp on an ice cube or in ice water for 5 seconds.
  2. Dry It: Quickly wipe away any moisture with a cloth.
  3. Stamp It: Press into the hot wax. The "thermal shock" will freeze the wax instantly against the metal, allowing the stamp to lift off with zero resistance.

This technique is absolutely essential when handling high volumes (like wedding favors), as the brass stamp tends to retain heat after repeated use.

Wax Gun Sticks vs. Melting Beads: A Buyer’s Guide

The right choice depends on your production volume and the artistic effect you want to achieve:

  • Wax Gun Sticks: The ultimate choice for speed. If you need to seal 300 invitations, a low-temperature wax gun is the only way to go. It offers continuous flow, precise dosing, and zero waste.
  • Granules (Beads) & Spoon: The artist’s choice. This method allows you to create the famous "Marbling Effect" by mixing 2-3 different colored beads (e.g., Gold and Burgundy) in the spoon before pouring. It is ideal for unique, one-of-a-kind seals on premium packaging, such as spirit bottles or cosmetic jars.
